We offer externships exclusively to International Medical Graduates (IMGs) and medical graduates seeking to gain valuable clinical experience in a U.S. primary care setting.
The externship program is a minimum of 6 weeks — we do not accept rotations shorter than that. Our clinic is open 5 days a week, and we highly recommend maintaining a consistent 5-day-per-week schedule for the best learning experience. During this rotation, participants will:
- Gain extensive hands-on experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Shadow how to perform and interpret EKGs, Spirometry, and ABI tests
- Interact with patients, strengthening clinical and communication skills
- Learn how to take patient vitals and manage day-to-day clinical operations
- Receive direct guidance and mentorship from Dr. Qazi
